When the very popular and largely considered the best diet pill, Ephedra, was banned it came as a shock. And with it, the way people shopped for supplements totally changed. Ephedra diet pills were used by people all over the world, but then it had too many side effects, some even causing death, so it had to be banned. Since then, people put in a lot of thought when they buy weight loss supplements.

During its very early stages, Ephedra was used by the Chinese. They used it to cure almost all the diseases, from cold to allergies. During its recent usage, it has started being processed and synthesized. This has resulted in many side effects being caused by it. A few of the side effects are that the blood pressure of people using it increases considerably. For people who suffer from asthma it increases the size of their bronchial tube, which means the amount of air their inhale increases to risky levels.

One thing which manufacturers have started doing lately is that they have started mixing Ephedra with other things like coffee. This way people who want to suppress their hunger can still make use of it, even though it is banned and this way it won’t harm them that much.
